Our Mission
The Healthy Breathing Centre Mission

The Healthy Breathing Centre is a resource designed to educate people in Australia and New Zealand of the common health threats they are exposed to in the home, workplace and travel environment, whilst providing them with practical solutions to address them.
The Healthy Breathing Centre and its’ allied networks have treated the homes of more than 25,000 families and individuals in the respiratory sensitive category. In the process, we and the collection of dedicated individuals who form the combined networks of this movement, have grown more determined than ever to debunk the weak, unhelpful and outdated advice that our society is mostly exposed to when it comes to respiratory health.
In Australia and New Zealand today, there is still no financial mechanism for researching or even validating the latest non medication based methods for managing allergy and asthma sufferers symptoms. Research on the incidence of respiratory illness and elaborate studies based around medication based treatment are seemingly endless however. What about non-medicated prevention? Many technology pioneers around the world will confirm, you are on your own when it comes to validating a process for treatment or prevention which doesn’t rely on the consumption of medication.
We are faced with an endless landscape of societies, foundations and institutions who seem to perpetually collect donations and financial support, only to employ people to regurgitate the same advice and fund further research into medication based solutions. All this while our population continues to be denied of preventative solution education, with no change to the increasing trend of respiratory illness in sight.
Well not any more.
The age of censorship is coming to an end and there is better health to be had for our societies as a result.
Fortunately today, amidst the ‘sickness’ of the system there are thousands of not only individuals, but health industry professionals who share a passionate connection when it comes to turning convention and the systemic manipulation that stops helpful solutions reaching the public, on its head. One of those people is public health advocate and health pioneer PHD Dr Peter Dingle.
Dr Peter Dingle has a Bachelor of Education in Science, Bachelor of Environmental Science with first class honours, and a PhD. Previously a long term Associate Professor in Health and the environment at Murdoch University and currently one of Australia’s best motivational health speakers. He has spent the past twenty years as a researcher, educator, communicator and author. He has more than 100 scientific papers. Dr Dingle currently has 6 books in print with the latest ones “My Dog Eats Better Than Your Kids” and “Is your home making you sick”.
He was also the presenter on the award winning SBS program “Is Your House Killing You”.
Due to his professional preference to maintain autonomy, Dr Dingle is purely a contributor to The Healthy Breathing Centre. However we are delighted that Dr Dingle has been ruffling the feathers of conventional science for many years with his combination of ground breaking research underpinned by his unapologetic preparedness to publish and present it and we are proud to be a part of such a wide reaching education vision.

The age of bureaucracy is over for respiratory health and the age of evidence first and agenda second is here.
Over the next five years, The Healthy Breathing Centre and its partners, aims to reach 3 million people across Australia and New Zealand. The ultimate goal is two-fold. Whilst correct education which is based on the very latest research when it comes to respiratory health is highly important, we believe having an answer in the form of a solution is just as important to make this mission one with not only meaning, but a mission with a real and tangible outcome.
It is a well known fact that prevention rarely takes the form of medication, and that a growing statistic won’t be stoppable unless a different and aggressive approach is taken.
To that end, in the next five years The Healthy Breathing Centre aims to slow the rate of growth in asthma and respiratory allergy. Whilst the precise accuracy of statistics which highlight incidence can be hard to rely on, one thing we know for certain is that the incidence of these and related illnesses is growing in momentum.
From 2016, the centre’s aim will be to spread the mission further around the world with a view to affect a slowing of incidence growth globally. For Australia and New Zealand at that time, the centre’s aim is to show a decline in asthma and allergy prevalence between 2016 and 2036, a goal which has never been undertaken before, but also one which until now has never been achievable.
If you have ever suffered from asthma or a respiratory allergy, if a loved one has experienced a lower quality of life than what they were entitled to as a result of a related illness or if you simply believe that science should be driven by the benefit for the people and not manipulated by the inefficiency of large organisations, then put your name to this movement by clicking below.
You are welcome to share your experience with allergies or asthma on this site and we encourage you to do so.
Yours in increasingly good health,
The Healthy Breathing Centre Team
