SF-4 is a low toxicity allergen denaturant. It is used to neutralise the most common allergenic proteins including DER p1 produced by dust mite excrement and body parts. It can be applied to any surface but performs most effectively on upholstered surfaces and items including carpet, mattresses, cushions, furniture, curtains and similar materials. It is recommended to apply SF-4 to the carpet after vacuuming and to the mattress and pillow surface between sheet changes. The more often SF-4 is used, the more residually effective it becomes, providing an ongoing protection from allergic reactions triggered by dust mite allergen, pollen and pet skin cells or hair.

SF-4 works by denaturing or ‘modifying’ the composition of allergenic proteins so that the human body doesn’t recognise them and therefore is less likely to react to them. SF-4 is unique in composition, relying on naturally sourced ingredients and avoiding the use of toxic chemicals. SF-4 also acts as a mild mould prevention and has been lab tested and proven to be effective against numerous strains of bacteria and several viruses.
